Siglap house is located in a very challenging site that led to the creation of a house both integrated into the landscape and open to the street below.
The building grows up from street level to attic like a bent ribbon. All storeys are fully open to the green surrounding typical of this area of Singapore.
The house was designed with an idea of lightness in mind. It is gently placed on a basement of apparent raw concrete, floating between the garden terraces and the pool. A roof garden, which is widely visible, accentuate this lightness.
